Open Question: Gloom cookie (comic) review what do you think?

OK HERE'S MY REVIEW IT NOT FINISHED CAN U HELP ME FINISH IT AND IF THE START IS BAD U CAN CHANGE IT IF IT TO REPETITIVE The Gloom Cookie collection by Serena Valentino & illustrated by the Extremely talented Ted Naifeh. It launches a whole new cast of gothic and fantastical characters. You have Lex (a short and pretty Goth) who is in adore with Max (a tall virtual Goth nice). He does not adore her, but he has fallen in adore with the bad Queen Isabella who doesn't even know he existed; Isabella has a history with Damian who in turn has a thing for Lex. Then there are Lex's friends Sebastian (a boy with monsters as childhood friends) and Christy (a lovey-dovey girl who’s not scared of monsters) who make a lovely couple. Things are not every, as they seem here either. Sebastian wonders where his monster friends went and Christy who desperately wants to look Sebastian’s home. There are also some great minor characters like Vermilion who writes terrible gothic poetry and one of Sebastian's monsters. The story is about a girl named lex she’s short and beautiful girl who goes to clubs every night and doesn’t look why Max doesn’t adore her, and a boy Max who goes to clubs every night just to look this one girl Isabella that hates him. AND I DONT NKOW HOW TO CONTIUE IT PLEASE HELP I HAVE THE LAST PARAGRAPHBUT I DONT NO WAT TO DO FOR THE MIDDEL The stories blend elements of fairy tale, fantasy and gothic culture in a spell binding mix. It is just the right blend of humour and seriousness. THAT THE LAST PARAGRAPH PLEASEE HELP LOL I DIDNT MAKE THE STORY UP ITS A COMIC I HAVE TO DO A REVIEW ON

Open Question: Comic book called "Mars" Published in the '80s?

I wanted to look if I could look if I could dredge up a comic book series published in the '80s called "Mars". the main character was a red-headed lady who was paralized. She was some sort of scientist, and she created a cybernetic reconnection between the brain and the limbs for paralized people- but she would not use her possess invention because she was paralized too long/ too much She decided to go with those going to Mars, because the reduced gravity would allow her to walk again. In the comic book her legs were always silver because of the inplants. The poeple ended up doing some nasty stuff to each other- but I can't remember a hole lot. I just remember her waking up after a very long icy-snooze with foot long fingernails and hair. Something went wrong, and they were alseep for a long time. Can you tell me who published this comic book? Do you remember it? Oh YES! It WAS First! I read Grim Jack when First was publishing it. Thanks!!! that the the answer exactly.

Please give many details to back up you reasoning, like: who is faster, stronger, smarter, more skilled, etc. Also, don't make things up like: "Goku can blow up the Universe!" or "Superman move 100x the speed of light!", and i'll let you know if you answer is retarded. Keep in mind that there are spin-offs and dub mistakes that create untrue information about Goku and Superman. The DC comic Superman may be used but things like,"Superman is invincible in the DC comics!" is untrue so please keep away from such claims. Let this be a fair and unbiased battle! Take Kyles answer as an example because his answer is the only one that is not retarded so far. I know some of you receive erections when you hear Superman, but I asked for a logical reason to back up your point! The score so far is Goku:1 Superman:0 because none of the Superman supporters seem to receive what it means when I say "Give details to back up your answer". So please, give me some actual answers.

I've noticed that comics often use references to disney and other companies. Examples: Hobbes from Calvin and Hobbes once wore "Mickey Mouse Pants" and in receive Fuzzy there was a reference to Hannah Montana. My question is do the writers of these comics have to receive permission from disney to reference these things or can they refernce them without permission and still be legal? The reference in receive Fuzzy was that they were looking for somebody in Hannah, Montana (mistaking her name for a place)

Open Question: Twilight movie--best casting decisions?

Who do you think best portrayed their characters in Twilight? My picks: Billy Black (awesome! gravity but playful too. v. convincing) James (scary as hell, and convincingly animal-like in his movements) Jessica (absolutely convincing as a teen with her possess inner life that happens not to be the subject of this movie) Mike (perfect as the cute/geeky guy with a crush--again, convincing in his inner life) Esme (radiates warmth and compassion like a nuclear-powered space heater, even in her tiny scenes) Bella (does a good job with the everygirl thing, not her fault they painted her white and left the camera on her too long) the beautiful pacific nw with the hoh rainforest et every Good but didn't receive as much of a feel for them as the characters over: Emmett (characterization achieved mostly through riding in trucks standing up in back, but I admit it was effective) Jacob (not much to do in this one, but i'm looking forward to seeing what he achieves with a bigger role) Victoria (didn't look much of her but she was convincing) Bella's mom (warm and flaky, not stupid--difficult to tug off) Phil (seriously--perfect in his ant-sized part) Eric (he played his goofy comic-relief part well; didn't overcook it) Apologies to the relax of the vampires--you had the hardest roles in the movie, obviously.

Open Question: What kind of job should I get?

Eventually I want to become a professional cartoonist/manga-ka and make Japanese styled comics. But according to my older brother Noel that won't be enough to pay the bills. So I'll have to have a well paying day job that I'll have to strive for another job or day job so I can invest in the business and become a professinal. So... what do you every suggest? Open Question: Ideologically, do you think this country is heading in the right direction?

I just finished reading the graphic novel, V for Vendetta, and was surprised how beautifully and well written such a comic book could be written. The underlying theme is so powerful in which that no matter how great our American society may seem to be, we are still subject to be controlled by totalitarian extremes of either Fascism or Communism. This theme was first presented to me when I read 1984 back in high school. Anyways, as I was reading the comic, the picture of Sarah Palin kept on popping up in my head. I don't know, she presents this intolerant religious extremism, and such major ignorance, that with her in power, we could be subjected to Fascism. One tactic the Republicans constantly use is FEAR. From robocalls to the religious right spewing out BS that Obama is a sign of the apocalypse. They always seem to inject fear into the political system, and that is a sign of trying to make people vulnerable so Fascist ideals can take over. I am glad that Obama was elected, but am extremely worried that his influence won't last and that we will elect someone like Palin in 2012. Your thoughts?

I'm planning to buy comics from amazon, but the prices vary from amazon.com and amazon.ca.
